THE ROLE OF DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION IN STRATEGIC PLANNING
The study aims to: (1) investigate the role of digital transformation in strategic planning, (2) identify key digital tools that enhance strategic decision-making, and (3) evaluate the benefits of digital strategic planning initiatives. A survey design was chosen for its ability to capture insights from business strategists. The sample size, calculated using Taro Yamane's formula, included 377 respondents from corporate organizations in Ogun, ensuring comprehensive insights. The corporate sector was chosen for its extensive strategic planning processes. The reliability coefficient score of the survey was 0.87. Findings indicate that digital transformation significantly enhances strategic planning by providing more accurate, data-driven, and agile strategic decision-making processes. Recommendations include investing in advanced strategic planning tools, fostering a culture of strategic agility, and continuously monitoring and optimizing strategic plans to enhance business success.
